Trish made these adorable Candy
Cane Critters. I love the sock monkey fabric and that tiger is just too cute.
Helen
also emailed to say that she'd taken two sets of Candy Cane Critters to a Christmas Party and
came home with none - she sold the lot!

Jan's
been busy with a few of our projects. Take a look at
these photo frame
bookmarks made for her friend. Jan likes
using a "freestyle" approach and leaves the edges raw for
extra
interest.

Shirley's advent calendar
|
|
Take a look at Shirley's
wonderful advent calendar, shown above right. Shirley writes:
Dear Anne
I've been meaning to send you an e-mail for a while to show you a
picture of the advent calendar I made for Christmas. I used the plain
quilted square from your 'Brag
Bag' design and edited in an appliqued heart that I had downloaded
as a freebee at some stage. Then I embroidered the numbers in gold
onto each square. For the side triangles, I used the same square and
cut it across to make 2 triangles. The outer edge is finished off with
bias-binding as this was a raw edge after cutting. The star at the top
was from your 'Scraptacular
Bag' design. I stitched on small lengths of organza ribbon and
tied a chocolate below each square. I thought I should show it to you,
seeing as a lot of it was made using your designs.
Thanks so much for your
photo Shirley and what a creative use of designs from other sets. It
came out beautifully.
