Use the photo frames to make a delightful brag bag.

I found two log cabin blocks which I'd made long ago in my fabric stash. I used these for the bag front and back. Each log cabin panel was first lined and quilted. On the bag front I positioned four photo frames (leave out the 2nd last color which attaches the back pocket as the bag becomes the pocket).

The frames were sewn onto the bag front just inside the satin stitch border. The top of each frame was left open so that I could slide in the photos later.

Sew the bag front and back together. Add bias binding to the top edge and your handles. I also added pretty ribbons to the handles to dress it up a bit more. The finished bag size is 11 x 11½ inches (excluding handles).

Making table top photo frames

You have the option of making the frame stand with stipple
quilting and a satin stitch edge (green frame on the left) or
you could simply embroider the first two colors to get your template and cut out the frame stand shape (yellow frame
shown right).

Fold over the top curved edge of the frame stand and glue
to the back of your photo frame

You could also add a short strip of ribbon to provide extra
stability. Glue one end of the ribbon to the inside of the frame
stand and the other end to the back of the photo frame as
 shown above.
