Roses are among the most elegant, sentimental and symbolic of flowers. They are timeless tokens of love and passion.

Our new Romance Bag is decorated with bold appliqué roses. All the panels are made in the hoop and are easily assembled with the help of your sewing machine. The fabric border strips on the bag panels are made with the stitch and flip technique.

Embroidery instructions and layout tips are included in PDF format. We also have free photo tutorial for adding handles and straps to backpack-type bags.

The approximate finished size of the bag is
11 inches high x 9 inches wide x 5 ½ inches deep
(28 x 23 x 14 cm)

The largest panel measures 5.69 x 9.23 inches or
145 x 235 mm. This set is therefore suitable for machines
with a 6x10 inch hoop, e.g. Viking Designer 1 Large,
Pfaff Master Hoop and Brother Large

The padded straps are also made in the hoop

These designs are dedicated to my beloved father-in-law, John, who passed away recently.
The water color roses which he painted for me in 2007 were the inspiration for this set.
