This set includes 6 pencil cases for Jumbo hoops. The cases are made-in-the-hoop, including the
zipper. Everything is
done
in a single hooping and no extra sewing is required. Recommended zipper length: at least 12 inches (or 25
cm)
Use nylon
zippers with a plastic coil. Detailed instructions provided with photos in
Microsoft Word format. |

Although initially intended as pencil bags, I
soon realized that
they are great for storing all kinds of things, like cosmetics,
manicure items,first aid and sewing stuff.. |
I also started experimenting with different fabrics. Shown above
is a clear view case. The bottom panel is made with vinyl.

And what about fly screen, available at most hardware stores.
Above is my new "beach" bag, using fly screen for the front
panels.
You could also try light weight toweling for a nice
toiletries bag and
maybe something glitzy for a cute evening
clutch purse. |

This set is suitable for the Brother Large Hoop (6½ x 10½ inch
or 160 x 260mm) and the Viking Designer 1 Large Hoop
(6 x 9½ inch or
150 x 240mm).

Four of the bags have sports themed
appliqué designs as shown
above - golf, ballet, baseball and basketball. Each sports bag has
stipple quilting around the appliqué design. There is also a plain
stipple quilted bag and blank bag with no quilting.
