We had a sunny afternoon
for a change so I asked my
models - Robert, Matthew and nanny Doris - to show off
the new Really Large Purses next to the pool.
Shown left is the 6x10
plain purse with the 8x12 free
strap as a cute handle - all done in the hoop with
no extra sewing at all. I used broad black and purple
trimming for the handle and bag top section.
Shown below - from purse
to backpack!
I used the 8x12 purse with the front pocket to make
these fun army backpacks for my little soldiers.
First embroider the pocket design (this is optional) -
I purchased the military designs from DesignsbySick.
Make the straps using the freebie available below - the straps
are lightly padded so they're nice and comfy over the
shoulders. Then put it all together in the hoop!
So easy - you won't believe how quickly these
come together..
